Using a strong magnet on the spacecraft and copper as a landing surface, you can land softly and safely every time. This will help with tourism wanting to fly to Mars or the moon and purchasing of tickets. Safety first, right?

By using a combination of Lenz’s Law and Faraday’s Law, you can safely and easily land rockets returning to earth without the blow-up problem.
Faraday’s Law
Any change in the magnetic environment of a coil of wire will cause a voltage (emf) to be “induced” in the coil. The induced emf in a coil is equal to the negative of the rate of change of magnetic flux times the number of turns in the coil. … It involves the interaction of charge with a magnetic field.
Lenz’s Law
In electromagnetism, statement that an induced electric current flows in a direction such that the current opposes the change that induced it. This law was deduced in 1834 by the Russian physicist Heinrich Friedrich Emil Lenz.
Combining these two laws results in “always safe landings” for future spacecraft and or rockets. We truly hope Elon Musk gets this message. @elonmusk and @SpaceX
By installing a copper windings at the base of a rocket and connecting them, then landing on a steel magnet. Look at the video. Invert the selection of the video above, so you put copper coils around the base of the rocket and land on a magnet. Voilà – problem solved for all future earth landings. Your rockets will not blow up anymore on landings – ever!
Ok, so we can create a failsafe landing of rockets on earth by turning the landing base platform into an electromagnet that slows and stops the craft coming at it. What about on the moon or Mars? Bring on your first trip to the moon or Mars, a copper base and drop it off before landing on it. And there you go, safe landings solved for all space travel.
